Student Registration Information

All students must be registered at one of the District Admissions offices prior to attending school. Once registered, parents will be given information about their child's specific school and the next steps. Secondary students will need to meet with a school counselor to determine the appropriate class schedule before attending classes.

Requirements

The following documentation is required for registration:
1 of 8. Verification of Parent Residency 
**Please note that actual residency at the address required
If you own your home, please bring ONE of the following:
  • Current Gas or Electric Bill (No Disconnect or Final Notices) - Current or last month only
  • Warranty Deed or Deed of Trust for homes purchased within the last two months
  • Purchase Contract - with future Possession Date or Closing Date within the current semester / trimester
If you rent, please bring ONE of the following:
  • Current Gas or Electric Bill (No Disconnect or Final Notices) - Current or last month only
  • A new current, signed Lease Agreement / Rental Agreement for property leased within the last two months
  • A NOTARIZED letter from the landlord in lieu of Lease Agreement
  • Future Lease Date - (must be within 2 weeks of registration) - Signed Lease Agreement & a receipt of the 1st month's rent payment
If you live with a family already in the district please bring ALL of the following:
  1. Completed and NOTARIZED Co-Resident Form

  2. Proof of your residence at that address. (ie: bank statement, insurance statement, new Colorado drivers license receipt, mail received, etc. with your name and address clearly listed)
  3. Verification of residency for the family with whom you are living with, such as their current gas/electric bill (see list above).
2 of 8. Birth Certificate
  • This is REQUIRED FOR ALL STUDENTS regardless of age or grade. Your child must be 5 years old on or before October 1st to attend kindergarten, or be 6 years old by October 1st to enter first grade.
3 of 8. Immunization Records (required by state law, effective July 1, 1997)
4 of 8. Complete address of previous school(s) attended
5 of 8. Picture I.D. of parent
