Identification Overview

The Cherry Creek School District defines advanced learners as:

Children possessing outstanding talent and performing or demonstrating the potential to perform at remarkably high levels of achievement when compared with others of their age, experience and/or environment. Such students require services beyond the rich and varied services provided in the general education classroom.  Outstanding talents are present in all cultural groups, across all economic strata, and in all arenas of human endeavor.
