SENG is dedicated to fostering environments in which gifted adults and children, in all their diversity, understand and accept themselves and are understood, valued, nurtured, and supported by their families, schools, workplaces and communities.
SENG Model Parent Groups are structured to bring together parents of gifted and talented children to discuss topics such as characteristics of gifted children, motivation, discipline, stress management and peer relationships. It also provides a forum for sharing experiences with other parents. This class helps parents gain a better understanding of their gifted children and provides tools to work with them more effectively. It gives parents the opportunity to look at their child's behavior from new perspectives and helps them gain insight into their child's motivations. Groups are open to parents of students with a gifted identification who are enrolled in the Cherry Creek School District.
As groups are formed throughout the school year, location and dates will be posted on this page.
