高中畢業規定 (Graduation Requirements)
高中畢業規定
 
櫻桃溪學區教育委員會已經批准了高中畢業的新規定,從2009畢業班開始生效實施。
新規定包括一個增加的科學課程學分和另一個0.5社會研究課程學分,共計22個學分。
新規定是符合科羅拉多州立學院和大學所採用的更嚴格的入學要求。
 
畢業所需最低要求的學分
2009年畢業班開始,高中畢業所需最低標準是22個學分。除了必要的16.5學分以外,其他所有學分應視為選修課程,可以從學校提供的整個課程中選擇。
在各領域規定最低學分要求如下:
  • 英語: 4.0 學分
  • 數學: 3.0  學分
  • 科學: 3.0  學分
  • 社會研究: 3.0學分(包括《美國歷史》一個學分,和《公民與政府》0.5 學分)
  • 體育: 2.0學分(包括《健康》0.5學分)
  • 藝術或職業和技術教育 1.5學分
  • 選修課程: 5.5學分
所有的高中學生,包括高四生,每年必須選修最少四門核心課程。
