2011-12 Financial Plan & Budget

The Fiscal Year 2011-2012 Financial Plan and Budget has been adopted by the Cherry Creek School District #5 Board of Education at their regular monthly meeting on June 13, 2011 at Aspen Crossing Elementary School, 4655 South Himalaya Street, Aurora, CO 80015.
 
The Financial Plan and Budget Executive Briefing summarizes the Financial Plan and Budget and has been reviewed with the Board of Education at their meeting.
 
Copies of the 2011-2012 Financial Plan and Budget are available at the office of Cherry Creek School District, Auxiliary Services Center, 4850 South Yosemite Street, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.
 
The Financial Plan and Budget includes a Cost and Resource Management Plan that summarizes the State funding reductions enacted by the Legislature under the School Finance Act (Senate Bill 11-230) and specific measures taken to resolve the budget. The Cost and Resource Management Plan has been reviewed with the Board of Education and the District Accountability Committee as part of the budget planning process.

2011-2012 MILL LEVY
 
In December 2011, Cherry Creek Schools certified the local property tax levy in accordance with the School Finance Act. The property tax levy provides annual school funding as authorized by State statutes and local elections.
 
The property tax levy is collected by the Arapahoe County Treasurer, based on certifications of assessed value provided by the Arapahoe County Assessor, for properties within the boundaries of the Cherry Creek School District.
