  • I sent my renewal for my teaching license to CDE 4 weeks ago and haven't received my new license. What should I do?
    Please remember it can take a minimum of 12 weeks for CDE to process your application. CDE recommends you submit your renewal application no more than six (6) months prior to expiration and no later than three (3) months prior to the expiration date.
  • I am a current teacher in the District do I resubmit my online application to apply?
    No, you must submit a transfer form to be considered for a licensed position.


  • Will I receive an ID card for my medical, dental, and vision plans?

You will receive a Kaiser Medical ID card.  Delta Dental and Vision Service Plan do not issue ID cards, your social security number is your ID with these vendors.

  • When can I add or delete eligible family members to my plan?

You may add or delete family members within 31 days of a change of status (qualifying event).

  • What qualifies as a change of status?

  • How are insurance premiums paid?

The health insurance premiums are paid current month.

  • Why is the medical insurance premium different on my pay statement than the benefit enrollment form?

Employees who enroll in a medical plan receive a supplemental medical contribution from the District to offset the total cost of the insurance plan.  Your pay statement reflects this difference.

  • Who can I talk to about my 401k and 403b?

The payroll department can answer all questions regarding your 401k and 403b accounts.
