All forms are due back to the Benefits Office by Wednesday, June 6, 2012. It is your responsibility to read and review all of the information provided to you on the district website and in the memo.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
· Effective July 1, 2012, the Kaiser Medical Plan premiums will increase by 14.8%. The Delta Dental Plan and Vision Service Plan (VSP) will have no change in premium.
· The IRS has issued new guidelines regarding the cap of $2,500 on the Health Care Reimbursement Account. The District received these guidelines on Thursday, May 31, 2012. "Plans that begin 2012 and carryover into 2013 can continue to have an unlimited FSA (Health Care Reimbursement) maximum."
Therefore, the District will allow the full $5,000.00 contribution to the Health Care Reimbursement Account for the 2012/2013 plan year. This equates to a maximum monthly contribution of $416.67.
