The Cherry Creek School District Board of Education has approved new graduation requirements that will take effect for the class of 2021.
The new requirements are still aligned with the Colorado Commission on Higher Education college admission standards. Beginning with the class of 2021, a minimum of 22 units of credit shall be necessary for high school graduation (See chart below, Box 1). All students must also demonstrate college and career preparedness for success in both English and mathematics by satisfyingat least one of the menu options in IKF-E (see chart below, Box 2).
All high school students, including seniors, must take a minimum of four core courses each year.
