Our district has partnered with Naviance to provide a variety of tools for student achievement through academic, career and college planning. These tools are located in Naviance Student, a platform for students and families to access online from anywhere, from any device. Students can access a variety of resources, communicate with school staff and collaborate on college and career readiness activities. In addition, students can research colleges, military options, explore careers, complete interest inventories, learn about their individual learning style, build a resume, apply to a college or university and search for scholarships or summer enrichment opportunities.
Students will complete and track and his/her Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP) in Naviance Student with a team of support that includes parents, teachers and counselors. Your student's ICAP will vary based on his/her individual interests, but should include goal setting, academic planning, career exploration, skill identification and post-secondary planning.
For more information about Naviance Student or ICAP, please contact your student's school counselor.
