·   자녀의 학교 교사들과 친숙을 도모
·   학교와 학군의 조직, 교육과정, 학교에 대한 기대 미국 문화에 대한 문의 도움
·   학부모 자녀의 학교에 대한 문제나 요구에 대한 의사소통 도움
·   출석문제, 특수교육 문제 학업문제나 기타 문의 사항에 관한 교사 면담 도움.
