The beginning of the school year is busy for every department, especially Admissions & Student Records. Between June 1 and August 31, the department (9 full-time and 4 part-time, summer staff members) will register more than 4,500 students and update the home address for another 3,000-plus students!

“The increased volume in Admissions during the last few weeks before school starts is certainly a challenge, but the staff is dedicated to excellence every day, all year long,” said Manager Vicki Lisi. She says the department also handles another important job. “We are the “first face” most parents encounter in the district, and our staff takes that role very seriously.  Providing quality customer service to all families while supporting our schools is always the primary goal.”

After school starts the Admissions & Student Records Department will shift focus to processing records for students who have left or graduated from Cherry Creek schools. Last year alone, the department archived more than 11,000 student records and mailed out records for over 4,500 former students.
