REMINDER: The final opportunity to offer input during a community feedback forum will be Wednesday, Feb. 7 at the District Accountability Committee (DAC) meeting at 6 p.m.
Smoky Hill High School, 16100 E. Smoky Hill Rd, Aurora, CO 80015

We want to hear from you.

The Cherry Creek Schools Board of Education is launching a process to gather community feedback to aid in the selection of a new superintendent to replace Dr. Harry Bull, who is retiring in June.

The board believes it is critical to have input from parents, staff and the community as they consider important decisions that will support the district’s continued focus on excellence and innovation. The feedback process also seeks to continue the community conversation that shaped the Cherry Creek 2021 plan and created a blueprint for ensuring our graduates have the tools, knowledge and educational opportunities they need to succeed in life.

The board has selected a consultant to facilitate two community feedback forums, which will solicit input on two priority questions:

1) What are the strengths of the Cherry Creek School District that support its mission to inspire every student to think, to learn, to achieve, to care?

2) What challenges do you foresee in the next three to five years as the district continues striving for excellence and innovation in every school?

The community feedback forums will be hosted by two existing groups: the district PASS (Partnerships for Academically Successful Students) and the District Accountability Committee. These forums will take place on the following dates:

Jan. 24 – District Partnerships for Academically Successful Students (PASS) meeting at 6 p.m.
Grandview High School, 20500 E. Arapahoe Road, Aurora

Feb. 7 – District Accountability Committee (DAC) meeting at 6 p.m.
Smoky Hill High School, 16100 E. Smoky Hill Rd, Aurora, CO 80015

We appreciate all of the feedback that we've received from Cherry Creek Schools parents, staff and community members. We'd like to remind the community that the final opportunity to provide feedback to the two questions above is during the community feedback forum starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at the District Accountability Committee (DAC) at Smoky Hill High School, 16100 E. Smoky Hill Rd, Aurora, CO 80015

We look forward to hearing from you!
