Welcome back to a new year of exploring creativity through exciting art projects.  I’m pleased to be back teaching art in my 7th year at Arrowhead.  This year, in addition to learning new techniques and art processes, all students will develop a better understanding of the important role the arts play in our community.
We have a new art gallery at the school called “The Ramp.”  Each quarter there will be an art show highlighting some of the great work being created here at Arrowhead.  There will also be work up around the school throughout the year, so please come in to check it out.
If you are interested in helping to put up artwork or help out in the art room, please email me at nthompson9@cherrycreekschools.org or call me at 720-886-2850.  Check back to this site for more updates.  I will be sending out special newsletters and requests for donations of supplies and talents.
Finally, I want to let you know that I often save your student’s best artworks for art shows and for display around the school, so don’t worry if you don’t see much art coming home.  Thanks for your interest in Arrowhead’s Visual Arts program and please check back later to see updates.

                                    Sincerely,

                                    Neil Thompson (Mr. T)
