Campus Middle SchoolFast FactsDistrict CalendarsSchool Hours The building is open from 7:30 AM to 4:20 PM daily. The student day is from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
AttendanceThe importance of regular school attendance cannot be over emphasized. Children should be in school when they are physically able. Although some assignments can be made-up, the interaction between student and teacher is irreplaceable. Please contact the school at 720-554-2677 to report student absence. The line is available 24 hours a day, but a call before 9:00 a.m. is beneficial. When your student returns to school, send a note signed by you explaining his/her absence. The note needs to be delivered by the student to the Main Office. This note is an important part of your student’s attendance record.
School Visitors All visitors must sign in at the security desk and present a photo ID. Visitors will receive a visitor name tag which should be worn easily visible to staff.
CafeteriaBreakfast: Served between 7:30 am and 8:00 am. Included are juice, cereal, toast, sweet rolls, etc. No advance purchase is necessary. Breakfast is $1.20.
Lunch: Students may purchase a hot lunch which includes milk or juice for $1.95. Children who prefer to bring their own lunches may buy milk or juice.
Breakfast and lunch are served on all regular school days. Ala carte items are also available for purchase.
Weather Emergencies Inclement Weather: The Cherry Creek School District will make a decision by 6:00 a.m. about closing schools or putting the Storm Schedule into effect. Listen to local radio or television stations the district notifies on days when weather may make driving dangerous. Stations routinely repeat school closures.
Storm Schedule: Campus Middle School's schedule, including bus pickup times, is delayed 60 minutes. The "late start" time is 9:00 AM. Dismissal time remains at 3:00 PM. On Storm Schedule days, all field trips, before and after school activities, and special school events will be canceled.
Please take a few minutes with your children and develop an emergency plan of your own. Make sure he or she knows how to get into your house if you are not home, or to which neighbor's house he or she might go.
CMS Course Guide The
CMS Course Guide lists the courses available at the time of publication, usually in February of each year. Students and parents use the guide to select elective classes and get an overview of core classes. Depending on enrollment, some classes may not be offered, additional classes may be scheduled, or class duration may be changed (e.g. from semester to quarter). Updated class information may be obtained from the registrar at 720-554-2709.
