Kelsey Biddix, Akila Copeland, Gabby Martin
and Kiara Williams were selected as our student Cougar of the Month for their leadership and contributions to Cherokee Trail.  Mrs. Rodriguez-Bell said, “They stepped up and volunteered to begin a mentoring program at Fox Ridge Middle School.  They are the founding members of the Cherokee Trail Friends First organization, but most importantly, they saw a need and an opportunity and visit with a group of girls once a week.  They represent Cherokee Trail well.” Thank you, Kelsey, Akila, Gabby and Kiara, for your exceptional contributions, dedication and leadership to CT and our community. Congratulations!
 
Ms. Rebecca Moehring was selected as our faculty/staff  Cougar of the Month for her dedication to the CT.  Her nominator said that Ms. Moehring works hard to make sure no detail is overlooked, ensuring the TCAPS, ACT and all other standardized tests are administered without any hiccups and does it with a smile on her face. She also puts in long hours at sports events and is a great resource for teachers in the building. Thank you, Ms. Moehring for dedication to CT and our students. Congratulations! 
 
Joan Stearns.JPGMs. Joan Stearns was selected as our faculty/staff Cougar of the Month for all her contributions to Cherokee Trail.  Joan is dependable, diligent, supportive and helpful to everyone at CT.  Whether it an after school event, Student Leadership event, senior event or facility rental Joan is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure things are perfect.   The events and activities at CT would not be possible without Joan and her dedication and support.  Thank you, Ms. Stearns, for your exceptional contributions, dedication and teamwork to CT and our students. Congratulations! 
 
Congratulations to our April Cougars of the Month recipients.  They were presented with a certificate and gift card to Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q.
 
Michael Chimento 2.JPGMr. Michael Chimento was selected as our Target Teacher of the Month for all his contributions to Cherokee Trail. Mr. Chimento is an outstanding Photo teacher that sponsors the CT Cinema Club.  In addition to preparing his students for IB Exams he created an opportunity for ALL student to be a part of a Lip-Dub. Thank you, Mr.  Chimento, for your exceptional contributions, dedication and leadership to CT and our students. Congratulations!
