Welcome to Cimarron Elementary School where our mission is to inspire and nurture lifelong learning; every heart, every mind, every day! Cimarron’s highly qualified teachers and staff are committed to educational excellence, rigorous standards, and the belief that through focused effort and a positive attitude, children will succeed!

At Cimarron, parents and staff work together to provide a safe, nurturing environment that motivates, educates, and guides every learner. Cimarron staff, students and parents have P.R.I.D.E.

We are Positive

We believe that every day presents an opportunity to encourage the heart of a child by celebrating each child’s accomplishments both big and small. Through positive interactions, Cimarron adults build relationships with students and encourage students to give their personal best every day.

We are Respectful and Responsible

Cimarron adults model respect for students in their daily interactions with children, parents, and colleagues. Students are taught the importance of respect in their speech, behavior, and attitudes toward one another and the adults who care and encourage them. Cimarron teacher’s model responsibility for students by preparing quality instruction and students model responsibility by arriving to school prepared to learn.

We are Inclusive

All children have a right to be included and celebrated for their unique qualities. Diversity with regards to race, cultural background, special needs, and individual learning styles are highly regarded as gifts to be shared with others.

We are Dedicated

We are dedicated in our work as educators and our constant pursuit of achievement results. We appreciate and acknowledge the dedication of families to encourage good study habits and accountability for their children.

The principal, teachers, and staff are committed to excellence and life-long learning. We read, study, and collaborate in an effort to promote excellent thinking, teaching, and learning. Excellence is an attitude that is embedded in all we do!
