MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Welcome to Fox Hollow Elementary School.  Our vision, “Every child…a lifelong learner” is supported by our commitment to providing a safe and trusting environment, achieving rigorous academic standards, welcoming accountability, valuing diversity, practicing compassion,  and to fostering a sense of wonder & joy in every student.  Our students take pride in being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe.
Fox Hollow is a 4-track, year-round school, which means we have children attending school every month of the year.  About three-quarters of our student body is in attendance at any one time. Everyone attends the same amount of time, but breaks vary by track. We serve approximately 830 students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade.
We expect academic excellence for all children.  We achieve this by teaching a rigorous curriculum with clearly defined expectations for students that meet or exceed the state standards.  Our teachers acknowledge that students learn in a variety of ways and differentiate learning to meet each student’s unique needs.
In an effort to help students identify and develop their talents, we provide art, music, PE, and technology classes during the school day.  We offer gifted and talented enrichment as well as targeted reading intervention for students who need extra support.  Additionally, we offer Choir, Intramurals, and Student Council before and/or after school.  We also host other after school programs such as band and strings, Spanish, art, and theatre. Families may also access before and after school daycare, kindergarten enrichment, and preschool.
As the principal at Fox Hollow, I have the pleasure of working with a community that is involved and supportive. Parents contribute numerous hours of volunteer time by assisting in classrooms or supporting PTO events.  Parents and community members are encouraged to join in the fun through various committees and organizations including PASS (Partnership for Academically Successful Students) PTO (Parent Teacher Organization), and the Fox Hollow Accountability Committee.
Our dedicated staff is highly qualified with several teachers holding advanced degrees.  Our goal is to develop lifelong learners and to make each day special for every student at Fox Hollow. If you are accessing this website because you are moving to our area, I would encourage you to visit the school and see for yourself what a delightful learning environment Fox Hollow offers!
