PTCO Financial Procedures & Forms

For more information about volunteering at Homestead, go to the PTO Manager website! Thank you for your support!

The Officers and Committee Chairpersons of the Homestead PTCO would like to welcome you to this wonderful school.  We are very fortunate to have a history of strong volunteer commitment and encourage all Homestead parents and community members to become involved.  All residents of the Homestead School attendance area, parents of and guardians of students who have open-enrolled, and the school staff are considered members of the PTCO.  There are no dues, and everyone is invited to attend meetings and participate in the decision-making that occurs at these meetings.

The purpose of the PTCO shall be to:

  1. Assist in attaining the highest level of education and welfare for all students.
  2. Facilitate effective communication and understanding between the school and community
  3. Implement programs to support curricula
  4. Provide for student health and safety
  5. Encourage student and parent involvement
  6. Provide financial support for school programs and equipment
  7. Promote strong relations among parents, teachers, community and school officials

Please plan to attend the morning PTCO meetings held every other month or the monthly Accountability meetings in the evenings.  We encourage your ideas, concerns and suggestions, and we look forward to your involvement in the Homestead PTCO.  Parental involvement is key to a child’s educational future.
