Supply Lists

The Staff at Liberty Middle School has committed to creating an environment where opportunities and support are provided to help all students develop a passion for learning that lasts a lifetime. 

In making this commitment we realize that students need tools and supplies that will help them be successful in class. One of our goals for students is to help them be independent learners by teaching organizational skills and study skills. 

All students are expected to purchase the binders that are listed below, for they will serve as a consistent organizational tool. Numbers of pencils, pens, etc. are not stated because we realize some students use more than others in the course of the year.

 The recommended list of supplies for a student at Liberty Middle School (If you are in AVID, please see your supply list below the school list):

 *#2 Pencils

 Colored Pencils

 *Black or Blue pens

 Inch/Metric Ruler

 Red Pens

 Colored Markers (non permanent)

 College Rule Loose Leaf Paper- 1000 for the year; keep some at home and replenish as necessary.

 1" 3-ring white clearview binders (Five)

 *Double Pocket Folders (Five)

 Glue Stick

 Scissors (one pair)

 *Tissues (two boxes)

 Composition Book

 Dry line- correction tape

 *Spiral Notebooks (Five single-subject, college rule)

 Five-Tab Index Dividers (Five pkgs.)

 Sticky notes (One 1/2" X 2" multipack)

 Pencil Pouches for Binders (one for 7th and 8th Graders, two for 6th Graders)

 Fine tip black pen (art students)

 Multi-colored highlighters

USB Flash Drive (at least 1 Gig)

Your math teacher will be recommending an appropriate Calculator for you to purchase if you choose.

*These items should be replenished for second semester

PLEASE NOTE:  The supplies listed above will not be available for purchase at school.

LOCKERS:

Students must use school locks for lockers. They will be available for sale at Liberty, selling for $5 each. Students will need one for their academic locker and a second for their P.E. locker if they are taking P.E. Students who purchased locks from Liberty last year may use those locks again this year.

 

AVID SUPPLIES:

If you are in AVID, these are the ONLY supplies you will need.  We use ONE binder that contains material for ALL classes.

3” Durable/Sturdy Binder

6 packages of 5 tabs

Loose leaf paper

Zipper pouch/pencil bag

Two pens – one red

Two pencils

Highlighter

USB Flash Drive (at least 1 Gig)

As part of AVID we will organize this binder as a class.
