LIBERTY MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION ( PTO )

The Liberty Middle School PTO is the parent support group organized to
-provide programs and grants which enhance the educational environment at Liberty,
-promote better communication between Liberty families and staff, and
-provide volunteer assistance within the school.

We greatly appreciate the assistance of our involved parent community and welcome your participation. We hope you will join us for our family events, including:

-Back–to –School Open House and Barbeque   (see flyer)                                  August 19
-Scholastic Book Fair                                                                                 November 1, 2, 3, 4
-“Bring Your Parent to Breakfast”                                                                        November 4

In consideration of the time and resources of our families, we limit our general fundraising efforts to our annual magazine sale. The success of this program in prior years has enabled us to provide significant support to the school through our grant program.  Profits from the sale have been used to provide technological enhancements, sound equipment, musical programs and instruments, and a variety of other materials to supplement school programs. We work closely with the school administration to identify areas where we can be the most supportive. Please help us to continue this successful program and save your magazine subscriptions. Renew through our sale by going to www.aphearst.com and select the “Shop Now” tab, then enter the School Code “HelpLiberty.”  You may renew your magazines today, and your student will receive their prize credit during the Magazine Sale.

Our general PTO meetings will be held at 2:15 p.m. at Liberty on the following dates: October 5, January 4, March 7, April 4 and May 2.  We hope you will join us.

Please contact one of us should you have any questions or concerns.  We look forward to working with you this year.

Sincerely,
The Liberty PTO Board
