Supporting Overland

  • Purchase an engraved leaf for the Overland tree sculpture (mounted on the wall inside the main entrance) and support Overland with your contribution. The cost is $30 for three lines. This is an opportunity to help preserve Overland's history and make your statement on the tree! Print the order form and return to the main office with your payment. Proceeds are used by Overland's Parent-Teacher-Community-Organization (PTCO) to support Overland programs. Thank you for your support.

  • Overland clubs, performing arts, athletics, and Overland's PTCO rely on outside financial support to continue their enriching programs. Sales of merchandise or services, fundraiser dinners or other events with your support and the support of local businesses help provide funding. Please watch the Overland Courier newsletter and the Calendar for opportunities to support the Overland community. Thank you.

  • Visit the Performing Arts page to learn about the Overland High School Patrons of Performing Students (POPS) and personalized, commemorative plaques available for purchase and display in the auditorium.

  • Traveling? Visit www.blazertravel.org. Each trip booked at this site raises money for Overland Athletics.

Attendance Office
(720) 747-3701
Please remember to call the Attendance Office when your child is absent from school. For more information about excusing an absence, click here.

PowerSchool

Monitor your child's grades and attendance by accessing PowerSchool.
Take advantage of the parent logins for PowerSchool and Blackboard to help your student succeed. Research shows that parents’ access to information and communication with teachers helps students improve academically.
When you log in, you can see Grades and Attendance for the entire year to date. As teachers enter information, you will see updates immediately. On the Grades and Attendance page, each teacher’s name is a link to his or her district First Class email address. You’ll find that teachers welcome your communication, and email is often a more convenient method than telephone voicemail.

Check the School Bulletin for schedules, testing dates, programs of interest, and even the lunch menu each day.
Click Email Notification to have information sent to your email address daily, weekly, or at the interval you choose. You may ask for complete assignment information or a summary of grades and attendance. This is an automated service for your convenience.
Questions or problems with PowerSchool:
  • Email: jford13@cherrycreekschools.org
  • Phone: 720.747.3658

Cooperative Online Learning Environment (COLE)

COLE is the name of Cherry Creek's new Learning Management System. This will replace Blackboard as a method for teachers to post resources and assignments.

Obtaining Make-up Work

Please contact your child's counselor to arrange for make-up assignments. Alternatively, you may email your child's teachers or access assignments through COLE. Students will have two days to complete an assignment for every day of absence.
