All students who miss school must be excused either through a phone
call, a written note from a parent/guardian, or a school official (for
school-sponsored events). All excuses must fall within the
district-determined guidelines (refer to Policy JH).

When excusing your child, please include- first & last name (provide spelling if you leave a voice message)
- reason for absence
- grade
- parent phone number
- signature (if a written note).
All absenses cleared by a parent/guardian by noon of the following school day are excused and will not require a re-admit slip.
If
it is not possible to excuse an absence by noon, a written note or
phone call is required for a student to receive a re-admit slip to
class.
Students whose absences are not excused on the daily
attendance report or who are indicated as unexcused on PowerSchool will
not be admitted to class without a re-admit slip. Students must report
directly to the Dean's Office for a re-admit slip.
Early dismissal:
Students who become ill during the school day must be excused through
the Nurses' Clinic. Students who leave school during the day must check
out through the appropriate attendance office.
