Our PTCO plans many successful events such as the Family Fun Nights. They conduct a highly successful fund-raiser in the fall. Money obtained from this event is used to provide our students with greater access to technology and many diverse cultural experiences. Teachers are also given mini grants from this money so that they may take children on field trips, invite speakers to come to the classroom or purchase special materials for students.

Dear Sunrise Families,
Our student body at Sunrise have been busy collecting non-perishable food items for our community. We wanted to make sure that our Sunrise families in need of food would benefit first. There will be an open pantry every Friday between 3-4 PM. You will be able to pick items you truly need and will use. We will also be sending “Sacks of Sunshine”, which are bags of food home with children on Friday for those who cannot come in to the school. If you are interested in our “Sacks of Sunshine” or have any questions please contact sunriseptco@gmail.com or 303-885-8909. We also need non-food items such as diapers, toothpaste, feminine products, soap, and other household items. We are always accepting donations.
Join Sunrise for our book fair at Barnes & Noble in Southlands on March 22nd between 4-8 PM. There will be a special art presentation by some of our students. If you can't make it on Thursday, there is an online opportunity. Visit BN.com/bookfairs and enter ID10693034 and Sunrise will get credit. All purchases made online between 3/22-3/27 with the ID10693034 will benefit Sunrise. 100% of our money earned will benefit the P.E., Music, and Art departments at Sunrise.
