Dear Parents,
We would like to introduce you to the Extended Child Services (ECS) programs at Village East Elementary School. We offer a Before and After School and Intersession Program. Our goal is to create programs that are safe, fun, and enhance the academic programs established at Village East Elementary School. All of our ECS programs are fee-based and self-supporting programs. All ECS Programs are governed and regulated by the Cherry Creek School District and by the Colorado Department of Human Services, Division of Child Care as applicable.
Before and After School provides childcare year-round from 6:30 a.m.-7:30 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Before and After School programs also provides childcare on school holidays, non-pupil contact days, summer and winter break (if enrollment is sufficient). The program does not provide childcare on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and pre-determined days during winter break.
Intersession provides academic support, enrichment and childcare for off-track students. Intersession includes: art, science and other structured activities. The hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. Students may attend the Before and After School Programs in conjunction with Intersession. Students must have a completed enrollment packet before starting any ECS program. Packets are available at the main office or at the Before and After School Program, located in the cafeteria.
