Woodland Elementary students celebrate transition to new school
On May 23, almost 300 students gathered in the gym of Altitude Elementary for a special kind of celebration: preparing to move to their new school, Woodland Elementary.

After a community process to select a permanent name for Cherry Creek School’s newest elementary school, the Board of Education approved Elementary School #45’s new name at its regular meeting on March 7: Woodland Elementary, home of the bold, brave and brilliant Bears.

CCSD Summer School
Cherry Creek Schools is offering both in-person and online summer school options for students who need credit retrieval for a class they didn’t pass during the regular school year, as well as students seeking credit progression - taking a class during the summer so they don’t have to take it next year. Register your child now for these exciting and educational summer programs! The Power Scholars program is free to students entering grades 1-5 in the fall and offers a fun and engaging experience that helps them increase math and literacy skills. Extended Child Services (ECS) summer camps provide quality day care that is fun, affordable and flexible.
