What's Happening at CCIC

  • CCIC Adds Learjet to Fleet of Aircraft

    The Cherry Creek Innovation Campus recently added a Learjet to its fleet of classroom aircraft. Students are eager to get hands-on experience and expand their knowledge of jet aircraft as they pursue careers in the aviation industry. The Learjet is no longer airworthy, and the engines and some systems have been removed, but it is still an extremely valuable learning and teaching tool.

  • Ms. Elerie Archer Awarded Partnership in Education Award

    CCIC CNA Instructor Ms. Elerie Archer has been awarded the 2021 Partnership in Education Award. This award is given to a teacher in a school district of the host city for the current year’s AsMA Annual Scientific Meeting. Nominations are solicited from the local school districts and the winner is selected by the Partnership In Education Award Committee. The winner is recognized as an individual who has brought a unique approach to teaching science in the classroom and has inspired his or her students to an interest in science. The award is sponsored by the Aerospace Physiology Society.

  • Inaugural Car Show at CCIC

    On May 22nd the CCIC Automotive SkillsUSA Club hosted its first ever car show! About 50 vehicles, ranging from a 1931 Model A Rat Rod to a 2020 C8 Corvette, were on display throughout the morning. Former, current and future students and their families participated, along with teachers from other CCSD schools with cool rides.

  • CCIC Fundamentals Startup Business

    The Manufacturing Fundamentals students and Business Services Pathway CTE Capstone students collaborated to create a startup business referred to as “CCIC Fundamentals.” Students were responsible for all phases of this comprehensive project, including drafting a business plan, marketing products and manufacturing custom signs ordered by CCIC employees.

  • CCIC Students place first in the "Public Health" team competition at Colorado HOSA State Leadership Conference

    CCIC Health & Wellness Students Eve Breese, Jack Carson & Ask Kunita placed first in the "Public Health" team competition at Colorado HOSA State Leadership Conference and will be advancing to International Leadership Conference in June.

  • Candidate Forums

    The Cherry Creek School District will have an election on Nov. 2, 2021, to choose two Board of Education directors. CCSD will host six candidate forums to give parents, staff and community members the opportunity to get to know the candidates. Get candidate information and forum dates, times and locations here.


    Flu and COVID-19 vaccination clinics

    CCSD and STRIDE Community Health Center will offer flu shots and COVID-19 vaccinations during drive-thru clinics this fall at:

    4-6 p.m., Oct. 6 - Highline Community Elementary
    4-6 p.m., Oct. 27 - OHS/PMS campus
    4-6 p.m., Nov. 17- Peakview Elementary
    4-6 p.m., Dec. 8 - Horizon Community Middle School
    4-6 p.m., Jan. 5 - Stutler Bowl Stadium

    Free meals for 2021-22

    CCSD will offer FREE meals for ALL students for the 2021-22 school year! Families who qualify for free and reduced meals should still fill out the free & reduced meal application for other benefits. Get more information here.
