Orientations

Freshmen Orientation will take place on Tuesday, August 15

Each family should receive a postcard from transportation with their student’s bus pick up and drop off times and locations the first week of August.  If you have questions about transportation please call 720-886-7400. If you choose, you may provide transportation for your student. Students will be at Cherry Creek for a full day and will be provided with a pizza lunch during the simulated school day. If your student has dietary restrictions that prevent them from eating pizza, they should bring a sack lunch. There will be a limited amount of gluten-free pizza available.

The purpose of this orientation is to make the transition from middle school to high school a positive one. Seniors and juniors will be serving as leaders and mentors to the freshmen class. Freshmen will be participating in large and small group activities which are designed to address students’ needs and concerns in an enjoyable manner.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle! No need to bring a backpack or any supplies.

Please remember: Freshmen check-in is on Thursday, August 10. Click HERE for more details. Upon completion of check-in each student's class schedule will be sent to their Cherry Creek email address. Students should print their schedule and bring their student ID (received at check-in) to orientation.
