Do students have free time during the day?
Posted by:First and foremost, we want to provide opportunities for all students to have a successful academic career at our high school. To this end, all students will have at least one off period to allow them time to access teachers and work on homework during the school day.

How do I get an Intra-district or Non-Resident transfer form?
Posted by:Intra-district, School of Choice, and Non-Resident Applications are available on the Cherry Creek School District website under the Admissions tab.

What are the starting and ending times for school?
Posted by:Cherokee Trail High School (CTHS) starts at 8:20 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Access to the building for students begins at 7:45 a.m. Students must leave the campus at the end of the day unless they are participating in an extracurricular activity or getting help from a teacher.

What kind of schedule does CTHS have?
Posted by:For the 2020-2021 school year, all students will learn remotely 3 days a week and attend school in person 2 days a week. Mondays will be remote for all students. On Tuesday/Thursday, Cohort 1 (A-K) will attend classes at Cherokee Trail and on Wednesday/Friday, Cohort 2 (L-Z) will attend classes at Cherokee Trail. For the days that students are at school, Cherokee Trail has an alternating block schedule with four 94-minute classes and a 33-minute lunch.

When and how will I register for classes?
Posted by:In February, you will meet with counselors and members of the CTHS staff to select your courses. After February, call the counseling office or registrar.

When will I get my class schedule?
Posted by:Class schedules will be emailed to the parent/guardian email address on file prior to the first day of each semester.

When will I learn my bus schedule?
Posted by:In August, district transportation will mail information to each family.

Will there be a chance for my student to participate in sports and activities?
Posted by:There will be many opportunities for CTHS students to be active participants in high-quality athletic and activity programs. Visit the Activities and Clubs and/or Athletics pages for more information regarding the opportunities for involvement that are available to students.

Will there be activity/athletic buses late in the day that my son or daughter be able to access?
Posted by:No, parents are expected to provide transportation home after activities and athletics.
