    Join Campus Middle School in celebrating those students making a difference here and in the community.

    March 2023:

    Congratulations to Abhijay Balamurugan who won the Cherry Creek School District Chess Championship that was held this weekend in Overland High School. 

    He won 1st place for Campus to take "2023 Middle School District Champion title" for overall CCSD {6,7,8 Grades Combined) while representing CAMPUS MIDDLE SCHOOL.

    February 2023:

    Campus Middle School got the Team Trophy for second position at the 2023 Scholastic State Championships (K-8). Congrats, Campus!

    Congratulations to the 8 Campus Brain Bowl teams that competed in the State Championship tournament on Saturday!  All teams had great success and represented Campus well.  One Campus 6th grade team took 4th overall, two 7th grade teams took 1st and 2nd place overall, and one 8th grade team took 1st place overall! It was a huge success for all Campus teams.

    The Campus MathCounts Team competed at the MathCounts Chapter Competition. The Campus Team of Rohith Thomas, Jisu Bang, Agastya Prabhu, and Michael Zhang took 1st place advancing them to the state competition.  Additionally, individuals Eric Chen, Jasper Huang, and Leran Wang also advanced to the state competition.  Campus had the most students advance to state of any of the schools in our Metro Denver Chapter (DPS, Douglas Co, Cherry Creek, Parker) and had 5 students in the top 10.  That meant Campus was well represented in the exciting Countdown Round! The state competition will be held on Saturday, March 18th at Cherry Creek High School.

    Congratulations to the 12 Campus String Players accepted into the 2022 CCSD Honor Orchestra! Students from the CMS Orchestra program auditioned for a spot in the CCSD Honor Orchestra Festival, and members will have the opportunity to study and perform 4 pieces of music under the baton of Javan Carson. Ms. Carson is a talented adjudicator, clinician, and chamber coach who has directed ensembles in the Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestras, Denver Young Artists Orchestras, and Front Range Youth Symphony.
