Parking Lot Safety
Because Timberline is a walk-in school, we have many parents who drive their children to school, which means we have lots of traffic. Other families elect to walk to school. For the safety of our students, we ask that you please do the following:
- Drop off in the designated area (after the crosswalk) in the front
parking lot in the morning - Make right turns only out of the front parking lot from 8:45 – 9:00
and 3:30 - 3:45 - Do not use the back parking lot for student pick up in the afternoon-
it is closed from 3:25 - 3:45 - Drive with extreme caution – little ones are hard to see!
- Drop off in the designated area (after the crosswalk) in the front

Dear Timberline Families,
We are very excited to share with you this information about our Positive Behavior Support (PBS) initiative at Timberline Elementary. Our goal is to strengthen and maintain an effective school environment that maximizes academic achievement and behavioral competence for all learners. Our Positive Behavior Support includes the following practices:
- A common purpose and positive approach to discipline
- Procedures for teaching and encouraging expected behavior
- Procedures for discouraging inappropriate behaviors
- Emphasis on prevention of inappropriate behaviors
- Data used to guide decision making and planning
- A clear set of positive expectations and behaviors which are in the following acronym:
Prepared to Learn
Always Listening
Wise Choices
Superb Attitude
We will acknowledge students who demonstrate our school-wide expectations through the use of a positive ticket system paired with the ability to earn prizes weekly. We also plan to hold assemblies where we will recognize outstanding Timberline “P.A.W.S. Pride” students. We ask for your reinforcement in implementing our new P.A.W.S. tickets as we know that the success of our students hinges on a strong parent and school partnership. We look forward to a great school year and thank you for your support! Go Timberwolves!
Respectfully,
Your Timberline StaffPAWS Pledge
