    • Vouchers* available for national administrations:

      • Saturday, September 26, 2020; or
      • Saturday, October 3, 2020.
      • A student testing with a voucher will be able to choose the test date that best fits his or her schedule.

    • For public school students enrolled as 11th graders during the fall 2020, CDE expects to offer the following PSAT/NMSQT test administrations:
      • Primary School Day Administration: Wednesday, October 14, 2020

    AP Exams

AP exams will be administered  online this spring.  Information on the free-response exams for each course can be found in newly released 2020 AP Testing Guide. Information about the new exam and format are below.

    • Exams will be given May 11–22. Each subject's exam will be taken on the same day at the same time, worldwide.
    • Makeup test dates will be available for each subject June 1–5.
    • Students can take the exam at home or in schools, if they reopen.
    • Because the exams will be administered on the same day at the same time worldwide, students will need to be aware of their specific timezone.  The schedule for all exams and timezones is available at the following link. https://apcoronavirusupdates.collegeboard.org/educators/taking-the-exams/ap-exam-schedule
    • AP will be using a variety of digital security tools, including plagiarism detection software to ensure the exams are secure.
    • Colleges support this solution and are committed to ensuring that AP students receive the credit they have worked to earn. For decades, colleges have accepted a shortened AP Exam for college credit when groups of students have experienced emergencies.
    • Additional information has also been updated and available at the links below.

    National SAT

    • The College Board has cancelled the May 2nd and June 6th test administration as well as the March 28th makeup test for the recently cancelled March 14th test.  Any students signed up for the SAT testing in March or May will receive refunds from the College Board.

    National ACT

    • The ACT April 4th national test date has been rescheduled for June 13th.  Students who registered to test on April 4th should receive communication from ACT with instructions for free rescheduling for the June 13th date or a future national test date.
    • As CDC and local guidelines for safety allow, ACT will offer national test dates on June 13 and July 18. If a test center is not able to open on the national test date, a makeup test date will be provided a week later.
      • The makeup test date for the June 13 national test date will be June 20
      • The makeup test date for the July 18 test date will be July 25.
    • In addition to the three previously planned fall test dates on September 12, October 24 and December 12, ACT will also offer a remote proctoring option for the ACT® test in late fall/early winter 2020, allowing students to take the test at their home on a computer. ACT will launch the test-at-home option as part of its national testing program. The fee waivers ACT provides to students from low-income homes will apply to the at-home testing option, and ACT is considering other ways to address access and equity issues.

    IB Exams

    • As of March 23, 2020 all spring IB exams will be cancelled.  Students will be awarded a Diploma or a Course Certificate that reflects the standard of work for the course they are registered for.  This will be based on “student’s coursework and the established assessment expertise, rigor and quality control already built into the programs.”

    State Assessments

    • All state assessments are cancelled for this year.  This includes the Colorado PSAT and SAT scheduled for April 14.
    • Because of the impact on college entrance, scholarships, and graduation requirements, the CDE is working with the College Board on possible solutions for PSAT and SAT testing. This will be especially important for current Grade 11 students looking to meet graduation guideline requirements with an SAT score.

i-Ready Spring Testing for Colorado READ Act
