Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year!
Dear Red Hawk Ridge Families,
Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year. While this year will look dramatically different than anything we have ever done, we are really looking forward to being back in school with your children. We have been working hard to ensure that we are following all of the guidelines from CDE and CDPHE for student safety. Our before and after care is open and has been thriving. There are a few bits of important information that I would like to share with you ahead of the first day of school. To start, please join me in welcoming our new staff.
- Megan O’Dorisio- Kindergarten
- Kaela Medlyn- Kindergarten
- Aaryn Coleman- 2nd grade
- Cassie Enix- 2nd grade
- Heidi Cohan- 4th grade
- Katerina Palowski- 5th grade
- Austin Deal- Learning Specialist
- Danielle Keidan- ILC
The first week of school will look a little different this year than it has in the past. The week of August 17th, we will be bringing in different grade levels on different days so that we can teach our students what school looks like as we increase safety measures during this pandemic. The schedule is as follows:
- Monday, August 17- 5th grade
- Tuesday, August 18- 4th grade
- Wednesday, August 19- 3rd grade
- Thursday, August 20- 2nd grade
- Friday, August 21- Kindergarten and 1st grade
The following Monday, August 24th will be the first day of school with all students in the building.
This year, we are changing our traffic pattern in order to eliminate congregation. Busses will enter the parking lot for drop off and pick up. The lot will be closed to parents. Student drop off will be in our bus lane. We will have signs out to help you navigate this as we shift our drop off and pick up process.
Please continue to check your email from Red Hawk Ridge. As we receive updated information about the 2020-2021 school year, we will continue to communicate with you all.
