    National Honor Society Application Information

    Any Sophomore or Junior with a weighted GPA of 3.75 or higher is eligible to apply for Grandview’s chapter of National Honor Society.  The purpose of National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in high school students. Membership is based on four criteria, each weighted equally: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

    Eligible students received an invitation sent to their Cherry Creek email on January 24th.  See this email for an information video on the application process and links to optional Q&A sessions on January 31st and February 1st at 4:15 pm.

    Students should complete the application via Google Forms and attach their completed essay by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022. Incomplete or late forms will not be considered.  The application link will be open beginning on February 1sthttps://forms.gle/pU8rVUPJ7pp1yUUx9

    The criteria for membership selection will be the accumulated points in the four areas (scholarship, service, leadership and character), and a majority vote of the faculty council, which consists of at least five faculty members.  Candidates will be notified of their selection status by email after March 24, 2022.
