    CCIC Opens Student-Run Food Bus

Cherry Creek Innovation Campus students are cooking and serving from a food truck that was converted from a school bus that's been turned into a state-of-the-art kitchen.  Campus CrEATions was made possible through the Tuchman Family Foundation. Advanced culinary students are learning both the business side of running a food truck and the culinary side of preparing and serving meals in a mobile kitchen. Eventually the food bus will be taken on the road to events.

Sierra Nevada Corporation Donates 2 APUs to Aviation Maintenance Program

Sierra Nevada Corporation recently donated two Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) from the planes used in the Nightmare Taskforce. The commander of the unit, Lt. Col. Guzman, and his team presented the APUs and spent time speaking with students about the importance of Aviation Mechanics. This donation is greatly appreciated and will benefit our powerplant program at the CCIC. The tools will serve as valuable learning resources for our students as they study APUs and turbine engines. This contribution will enhance their educational experience and better prepare them for entering the workforce.
