What's Happening at CCIC

  • CCIC IT Students Recognized By National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT)

    The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) has recognized four CCIC IT students in their Aspirations in Computing program! Applicants are evaluated based on their interest, involvement, commitment, and future plans in computing. Awards are given at both a national and a regional level. Congratulations to the following CCIC recipients of this year’s awards: Jenna White (National Certificate of Distinction) Lara Ahmad (National Certificate of Distinction) Daniela Solok (Regional Affiliate Award Winner) Nabeeha Mubeen (Regional Affiliate Award Winner).

  • CCIC ProStart Students at FCCLA Culinary Events

    CCIC Hospitality & Tourism pathway's ProStart students competed in culinary events at the Colorado FCCLA State Conference! Congratulations to the following students: Bryce Hyong (1st Place Gold Medal in the Gourmet Savory event), Arianna Allen (Silver Medal in the Gourmet Savory event) and Sharon Barkat (Silver Medal in the Gourmet Savory event).

    The CCIC chapter of HOSA, future health professionals, would like to recognize Samaya DeSears, Dhoon Shah, Soliyana Zebene, and Rachel Strohmeier who competed at the state leadership conference at the end of February in Denver!

  • Grandview CyberPatriot Team with CCIC students Places 8th at National Competition

    Congratulations to Grandview's CyberPatriot Team (Abhinav Vemulapalli , Grant Yoder - CCIC, Daniel Sobczak - CCIC, Daniel Park, John Lim, and Austyn Darnell-CCIC) for placing 8th at the CyberPatriot National Finals.

  • CCIC Business Services Students at DECA State Leadership Conference

    Congratulations to CCIC Business Services students at the DECA State Leadership Conference in Colorado Springs. Students experienced DECA at its finest by displaying knowledge of Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Business. Seven students were finalists and three will represent at the International Career Conference at the end of April.

  • CCSD Summer School

    Cherry Creek Schools is offering both in-person and online summer school options for students who need credit retrieval for a class they didn’t pass during the regular school year, as well as students seeking credit progression - taking a class during the summer so they don’t have to take it next year. The Power Scholars program is free to students entering grades 1-5 in the fall and offers a fun and engaging experience that helps them increase math and literacy skills. Extended Child Services (ECS) summer camps provide quality day care that is fun, affordable and flexible.   • The Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC) is a stand-alone college and career preparedness facility accessible for high school students in the Cherry Creek School District. Courses at the CCIC align with the industry standards for seven in-demand and growing career Pathways.
