CCIC Teacher Kim Reiser Named CMEA Teacher of the Year
Congratulations to CCIC's Business Pathway Lead, Kim Reiser, for being named CMEA's 2021 Teacher of the Year! This award recognizes teachers who lead outstanding business, marketing and DECA programs for students in their respective school communities.

YouthBiz Startup Winners
Congratulations to Business Services pathway student Miles Newbins from Cherokee Trail and Health & Wellness pathway student Charithasri Doddapaneni, Grandview High School for winning the first CCIC/YouthBiz Startup Week Pitch contest held virtually January 25-28th.

STEAM Students Design Future Forward Educator Award
STEAM students designed, prototyped, presented to clients, fabricated, and assembled the Cherry Creek Schools Future Forward Educator of the Year Awards for 2020! This is just one of the opportunities students have in the STEAM Pathway to work on real life projects .

Anatomage Table in Health & Wellness
Physical Therapy students are using the new Anatomage Table. This amazing piece of equipment, used in CCIC's Health & Wellness pathway, allows students to see human cadvers in 3D to learn human anatomy. The interactive, multi-layered 3D images can be cut and viewed along any plane, and enlarged or rotated on any axis for better viewing.

CCIC DECA State Qualifiers
CCIC Business Services students competed in the virtual DECA District competition and 10 students earned top performer awards and qualified for the state competition. Students completed a 100-question online test and recorded a video response to a role play scenario. Congratulations to State Qualifier Award Winners: Yashwant Chapagain, Taliyah Claiborne, Josh Forkell, Jayed Khan, Ella Mahaffy, Miriam Meyers, Charles O'Donnell IV, Rediet Petros, Izabella Sterling and Graham Thatcher.

Attention high school students and parents! The Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC) is a stand-alone college and career preparedness facility accessible for high school students in the Cherry Creek School District. Courses at the CCIC align with the industry standards for seven in-demand and growing career Pathways.
