Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!
At Smoky Hill, we wanted to provide our families with valuable information in regard to check-in, parent forms, schedules and supplies. I have provided the information below for your review.

- Students will receive supply lists from their individual classes when school starts.
- Schedules will be released on 8/9/24.
- The Back to School Hub will answer all your questions on parent forms, athletics, immunizations, food and nutrition, safety and security, technology, and transportation. Please review the following link to access this information. https://www.cherrycreekschools.org/BacktoSchool
This website is NOW LIVE and Parent Forms are now available as well as helpful guides to admissions requirements, transportation needs, school meals, technology, and more.
All families are required to update and complete their Parent Forms each year and before their child(ren) is able to attend school.
Please complete Parent Forms ONLINE, PRIOR to August 2nd!
If you are enrolling your student(s) for the first time in the Cherry Creek School District, please visit the Admissions Student Enrollment website (click here)
Initial Check-in Day
WHEN: Friday, August 2nd
WHO: 9th and 10th Grade, 8AM to 11:30AM
11th and 12th Grade, 12:30PM to 3:30PM
WHERE: Band Door Entrance (west of Activities)
Late Check-in Day
WHEN: Thursday, August 8th
WHO: All Grades, 8AM to Noon
WHERE: Band Door Entrance (west of Activities)
Additional Parent Documents and Useful Links
Please keep in mind that ALL students (new and returning) must be registered/re-registered before the first day of school. It is important to know that a student’s course schedule will not be released until this is complete. Families that fail to complete this process before the first day of school must report to the late check-in station on the first day of school.
- Pay Student Fees & Fines
- Payments must be made online using this Online Payment Link There will be a Bookkeeping station on August 2nd to help with issues/questions.

*By completing these items prior to check-in, you will greatly reduce your wait time and standing in line.
IN-PERSON check-in on August 2nd:
Required
- Assistance with Parent Forms if not completed. You will not be able to move to the next station without the parent forms being completed.
- For anyone having difficulty completing the online registration/check-in process, there will be laptops and individuals available to assist you.
- Assistance with Paying Student Fees & Fines (if unable to complete prior)
- If you have been unable to pay fees/fines online there will be a Bookkeeping station available to help with issues/questions. Payments can be made at this time as well.
- Student Photos and Student IDs
- Student photos will be taken, and student IDs will be printed. All students are required to have an ID during school hours on campus.
- Laptop Distribution
- Freshmen will receive their devices on their phase in day, either Monday, August 12th or Tuesday, August 13th.
- Seniors Only: Graduation Application
- Seniors will need to turn in their Application for Graduation (which is in the attached packet).
Optional
- Textbook/Library Return
- Students will be able to return these items at this time.
- Yearbook Distribution
- If you purchased a yearbook for last school (23-24) year you will be able to pick it up at this time.
- Advanced Placement (AP) Information
- You will be able to learn more and ask questions about the AP Program @ SHHS.
- PTCO
- You will be able to learn more about the SHHS PTCO and what they do for the students at Smoky Hill.
Student Schedules
For students that have completed their online check-in process, schedules will be made available, via PowerSchool, to families Friday, August 9th. Students who HAVE NOT completed the online check-in process WILL NOT receive their schedules until the check-in process has been completed via Parent Forms. Families that fail to do so before the first day of school must report to the late check-in station on the first day of school. At which time, the student’s schedule will be released.
