Mrs. Angela Lang
I was born and raised in Oklahoma, and began teaching at Cottonwood Creek in 1992 after graduating with a degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University. I later got a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Northern Colorado. I enjoy being a part of our youngest learner’s introduction to school and learning. I love our beautiful state and love spending time outdoors and in the mountains. I am also passionate about travel. My favorite place to be is any where my family is which includes my husband, Turner (a CCHS graduate), my son Cayden (a sophomore at University of Colorado Boulder), my daughter Sydney (a senior at CCHS) and the two best dogs in the world, Paisley and Leia.

Mrs. Susan Stroeher
Hi, my name is Susan Stroeher, one of the kindergarten teachers at Cottonwood. This is my 21th year teaching in Cherry Creek. Most of my teaching was done at Homestead Elementary and I made the move to Cottonwood six years ago. I have primarily taught kindergarten for the bulk of my career but have also taught first and second grade. I have three, nearly grown, children of my own. One is a college graduate living in NYC, one is a graduate from the University of Kansas and my youngest is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin. I love to hike, play tennis, draw, and spend time with my large extended family.

Mrs. Emily Gayle
My name is Emily Gayle and I am one of the Kindergarten teachers at Cottonwood Creek Elementary. This is my tenth year teaching and Cottonwood Creek has been my home for nine of them. I have taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade throughout my career and kindergarten is truly my happy place. I have a Masters Degree from Regis University in Elementary Education as well as my art education endorsement. My husband and I have two beautiful daughters, Juno (4) and Piper (1). When I’m not teaching you can find me reading a good book, taking walks, doing yoga or playing with my girls. I'm looking forward to getting to know you and your families this year and working together to ensure your child has an amazing year of growth and learning to kick off your little one’s first year of elementary school!
