My name is Michele O’Brien and this is my 31^st year of teaching. I am originally from MN. (Go Vikings!) I taught 2^nd grade in Las Vegas, Nevada for 10 years and 21 years ago I was lucky enough to be offered a first-grade position at Cottonwood Creek. When I’m not in the classroom I’m spending time with my husband, spending time with friends, watching football, traveling, and enjoying the beautiful state of Colorado. I’m excited for another awesome year in first grade!

Hi! My name is Nicole Hargreaves. I am a Colorado native, and I love all the beauty and adventure Colorado has to offer.  I enjoy bike riding, yoga-ing, camping, hiking, water sports, and cooking.  My husband, Travis, and I are both educators and love to spend as much time as we can with our friends and family, near and far. We have two very spunky daughters, Abby, who will be a 1t grade this year, and Raegan who is entering pre-school . On top of that, we have our fur baby Buckley that adds to our busy household. I have my undergraduate degree in elementary education, from UW, as well as my master’s in education and leadership from CSU.  I have a love for learning, and I hope to instill this same passion in all my students. This is my twelfth-year teaching and my sixth year at Cottonwood.  I really love the community atmosphere that this school provides and am thankful to be a part of it!

Hello! My name is Hannah Frick, and I am thrilled to be a first grade teacher for my fifth year at Cottonwood Creek! I taught many different grade levels in Douglas County before joining the Cherry Creek School District. I have lived in Colorado my entire life, and I love it here!  I enjoy spending time with my husband and three adult children, reading books, being outdoors, and watching sporting events (Go Rockies and Broncos!)

Hello Cougars! 

My name is Jessica Neal and I am excited to be back in first grade this year. This will be my fifth year at Cottonwood Creek and my thirteenth year in the Cherry Creek School District. I was born in Aurora, Colorado, but spent most of my childhood in New Mexico. I moved back to Colorado in 1993, where I graduated from Overland High School. I attended Metropolitan State University, graduating with degrees in Behavioral Sciences and Reading while earning my teaching license. I married my high school sweetheart, Justin, and have 2 kids. Jacob is 23 and attends UNLV. Jackson is 18 and is a recent graduate from Eaglecrest High School. When I am not teaching, I love to travel, cook, bake, attempt to garden, read, and watch Netflix.
