Mr. Drew Francis, Principal

Hello! My name is Drew Francis and I am the Principal here at Cottonwood Creek. This will be my 27th year in education, 17th year in administration, and 1st year in Cherry Creek. My educational background includes classroom teacher, Adjunct Professor for the University of Chicago, Educational Consultant, Communications Coach, and Elementary School Principal. I was born in Wisconsin and grew up in northern Illinois. I am still a loyal Green Bay Packer fan. I am very fortunate to be in a position of doing ‘work’ that does not feel like work. My wife Jan and I live in Elizabeth, CO and have three children; 21, 18, and 15. We moved to CO 16 years ago and we love it. We camp, bike, hike, and explore new places every chance we get.

Mrs. Lisa Most, Assistant Principal

Hello! My name is Lisa Most and I am the new Assistant Principal. This is my first year in the Cherry Creek School District and I am very excited to be at Cottonwood Creek. I started my educational career in New York and moved to Colorado with my husband. I worked in the Aurora Public Schools system in a variety of roles including Reading Interventionist, District Coordinator in the Gifted and Talented Department, School Counselor, Dean, and Assistant Principal. Our children are proud graduates of Cherry Creek High School. Our daughter is currently working as a Marketing Manager in New York City and earning her MBA and our son will be a senior in college studying Biomedical Engineering. My family are loyal New York Yankee fans and our cat is named Jeter (after Derek Jeter). I enjoy gardening and biking with my husband. I look forward to being a part of the Cottonwood community!

Ms. Joan Salinger, Office Manager

Hi! My name is Joan Salinger. I grew up back east in New Jersey and moved to Colorado in 1992. I have been at Cottonwood Creek for the last 20 years. I started part-time as a Para, I was the Registrar for one year before becoming the Office Manager. I live in Aurora with my dog. When I’m not working, I like spending time walking, reading, cooking and hopefully will start traveling more.

Mrs. Thessica Covato, Administrative Assistant

Hello! My name is Thessica Covato. I grew up in Pennsylvania where I attended Penn State University, then moved to Colorado in 1995. I live with my husband and two children, who also went to Cottonwood Creek years ago. This is my 3rd year working at Cottonwood and my 4th year working for CCSD. I absolutely love Cottonwood, it holds a special place in my heart.
