Emergency Preparedness

CCSD's approach to Emergency Preparedness is to be ready for a full spectrum of crisis situations. Our strategies address Mitigation and Prevention, Preparedness and Planning, Response and Intervention, and Recovery for incidents of all scales. The Comprehensive School Safety Plan is a blend of programs, procedures, training, education, drills, physical security measures, technology, partnerships, and communication. We constantly evaluate our approach to Safety and Security to ensure  we have simple and effective plans that are easy to execute at the time of need. We believe that fostering relationships, inspiring confidence, and educating the community are the cornerstone to building a Comprehensive School Safety Plan.
