Schedule Change Request Policy

  • Students choose to attend courses at the Cherry Creek Innovation Campus (CCIC) do so as a part of their Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP), and go through an extensive application process to gain entry into our courses. A decision to drop a CCIC course during the semester can impede ICAP progress and will significantly impact the students’ overall class schedule. Reasons for requesting a withdrawal from a CCIC class should be considered carefully before a request is made.  We will be asking students to discuss their reasons with their current CCIC teacher, their home high school counselor, and their parents before we will accept a Schedule Change Request.

    STUDENTS MAY OBTAIN A SCHEDULE CHANGE REQUEST FORM FROM THEIR DESIGNATED CCIC COUNSELOR.  CHANGES WILL NOT BE MADE UNTIL THE ENTIRE FORM IS COMPLETED, INCLUDING ALL SIGNATURES.  STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ATTENDANCE UNTIL THE COMPLETED FORM IS SUBMITTED AND PROCESSED. 

Schedule Change Records Timeline

  • Schedule changes that occur during the semester are recorded on student transcripts. 

    SEMESTER 1 (2024)

    • August 14-August 19: No record
    • August 20- September 30:  Withdrawal from any class at the CCIC carries a WP (Withdraw Passing) or a WF (Withdraw Failing). This mark will appear on your transcript and may impact athletic eligibility.
    • October 1: From this date on, withdrawal from any class at the CCIC carries an automatic “F” for the semester and the “F” will appear on the transcript (F=Fail).

    SEMESTER 2 (2025)

    • January 7-10: No Record
    • January 13-February 25: Withdrawal from any class at the CCIC carries a WP (Withdraw Passing) or a WF (Withdraw Failing). This mark will appear on your transcript and may impact athletic eligibility.
    • February 26: From this date on, withdrawal from any class at the CCIC carries an automatic “F” for the semester and the “F” will appear on the transcript (F=Fail).

Class Fee Refund Policy

  • Course fees will be partially refunded (minus the uniform fee) if the request is made within the first two weeks of each semester.  

    • Deadline for a refund request for semester 1 is Friday, August 23, 2024
    • Deadline for a refund request for semester 2 is Friday, January 17, 2025

    An unwashed & unworn uniform may be eligible for a refund if returned within two weeks of distribution to the CCIC Business Manager.
