School Resource Officers (SROs) & Law Enforcement Relationships
-
CCSD has a strong relationship with its law enforcement partners. The district is served by four different law enforcement agencies and has officers from each agency that serve as School Resource Officers (SROs) for the school and community. The backbone of the SRO program is “relationship building.” All CCSD SROs subscribe to the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) program recommendations. The CCSD District Security Team works and trains with all agencies to develop safety and response plans.
