Our PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) Model is designed to recognize students who demonstrate positive behavior on campus. There are numerous ways that we recognize and celebrate students who display our PACK Commitments (Perseverance, Achievement Connectedness, and Kindness).
Husky Bucks
When a staff member recognizes that a student has demonstrated Perseverance, Achievement, Connectedness, and/or Kindness, they hand out a Husky Buck. Husky Bucks are personalized slips of paper that can be collected and used at the Husky Buck Market for prizes.
Husky Buck Market
Our Husky Buck Market is open every other Friday during lunches. Students can use Husky Bucks earned by demonstrating our PACK Commitments to obtain a prize. We asked our students what they would like to see for sale in the Husky Buck Market, and they helped us create an Amazon Wish List! Interested in making a donation to the Husky Busk Market? Check out our Wishlist.
Leader of the Pack
Students who notice each other modeling our PACK Commitments can submit nominations for our weekly Leader of the Pack recognition. The Leader of the Pack is celebrated each week in the Friday afternoon announcement and is given a prize in the Main Office. Nominations can be made using this link.
Quarterly PACK Assemblies
At the end of each quarter, students who have been selected by their teachers for modeling our PACK Commitments all quarter long are celebrated at a class wide assembly.
