Military Pathway
Enlisting in the Armed Forces
-
The process of enlisting in the military primarily takes place in partnership with a military recruiter from your chosen branch, and with the support of your school counselor to guide you through the process. Military recruiters visit Cherokee Trail on a regular basis. You may see them in the Commons during lunch time, or during a formal presentation in the Post-Grad Center. Students/families may use the Post-Grad Center to meet one-on-one with military recruiters by working with the recruiter and Post-Grad staff to schedule an appointment. Contact information and brochures for each military branch can be found in the Post-Grad Center military wall. *Students who are interested in attending a United States Military Academy should follow the 4-Year College/University pathway and should meet with their counselor as earlier as 10th grade.
