Hello Village East families,
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Abir Abbar, and I am honored to be part of this wonderful community. Originally from Benghazi, Libya, I was raised in Italy and hold a bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Benghazi. My language proficiency includes Italian, Arabic, and English. Throughout my professional journey, I have practiced architecture, planning, translation, and communication coordination in various Libyan and Italian firms.
As your Community and Family Liaison, my primary focus is to facilitate seamless communication between parents and the school. I am dedicated to providing support and outreach resources to parents, collaborating closely with our community to ensure the well-being and success of our children throughout the school year.
My ultimate goal is to make this year a remarkable and fulfilling one for our students. To achieve this, I encourage all guardians to fill out our annual survey. Click here for the survey.
In addition I am here to offer information and resources in various areas, such as:
- Mental health support.
- Economic hardship or homelessness.
- Uninsured or medical difficulties.
- Information on free and reduced lunch applications.
- Addressing food and clothing needs.
If you have any questions or require any support, please feel free to reach out to me via email at aabbar@cherrycreekschools.org or by phone at 720-747-2001.
Thank you, and I look forward to working together to make this school year truly exceptional.
Sincerely,
Abir Abbar
