Hello Village East Families, 

For our new families this year, my name is Angela Henderson and I am fortunate enough to be serving again this year as the Community and Family liaison.

Before I came to the beautiful state of Colorado, I grew up in a small town in California. That small town never afforded us many opportunities, including the types of services I provide now, though so many of us growing up truly needed them. 

My hopes this year are to expand the impact made with our students and community to make this 24/25 school year not only successful, but memorable for all!

The beginning steps to making that happen are having a new survey for the new year, as well as getting to know our families better. 

If you and your family are experiencing hardship in any of the following areas:
•    Mental health support
•    Economic hardship or homelessness
•    Uninsured or medical difficulties
•    Information on free and reduced lunch applications
•    Food and clothing needsOr if you have a passion for helping others in your community in these areas;
