Laredo implements restorative practices throughout the building.  We believe that, by building strong individual and community relationships, all students can find value and belonging at Laredo.  We work to provide students with multiple safe places to voice concerns and provide a system of communal accountability. 

 Our Laredo Middle School Restorative Practice Goals:

 1. We have restorative practice (RP) coaches at every grade level to help students navigate conflicts that may occur within the building.  Our RP coaches partner with teachers, students, and families to help students take ownership and repair harm when appropriate.

 2. 100% of our classes have social contracts that are built and agreed upon by each classroom community

 3. Our advisory classes facilitate community circles weekly that allow students to learn about their peers and teacher in a way that limits power dynamics.
