• An industry-sponsored project is designed to create a unique, high-quality educational opportunity where students engage in real-world challenges presented by industry partners. These projects enhance educational objectives and are closely aligned with classroom curriculum. Collaboration between the classroom teacher and industry partner is essential to ensure the project is appropriate for our students' skill level. Additionally, a timeline and schedule must be established, including planned interactions with industry professionals.

    Examples of Industry-Sponsored Projects:

    · The Denver Zoo challenged our Product Design students to develop a specialized ankle cast for a hippopotamus.

    · York Space Systems tasked our students with designing and creating 1st and 2nd place trophies for their Annual Chili Cook-off.
