Compensation and Classification
Cherry Creek School District administers, manages, and maintains a market-based pay structure to attract, motivate, and retain qualified employees in support of the District’s mission. Designed with the assistance and expertise of the Colorado-based organization Oehm Consulting Services (OCS), Inc., the compensation program is based on the market value of equivalent positions in the marketplace along with recognized industry pay practices that strive for equitable pay.
Cherry Creek School District participates in market studies to remain competitive in the metropolitan-area public school district market. The market studies are administered by Colorado-based consulting firm Oehm Consulting Services, Inc., which has more than 25 years of experience working with public school districts on this type of work. The purpose of the consulting firm is to serve as a third-party consultant to perform impartial market analyses and present objective data and recommendations to uphold our market-based compensation program while living within our means. Our identified peer organizations for market surveys include Adams 12 Five Star Schools, Aurora Public Schools, Boulder Valley School District, Denver Public Schools, Douglas County School District, Jefferson County Public Schools, Littleton Public Schools, and Westminster Public Schools.

Certified/Licensed Salary Schedule
This compensation plan includes Fair Labor Standards Act exempt teacher and special service providers (SSPs) such as counselors, social workers, psychologists, registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and audiologists. All positions require a specific Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification/license.

Educational Support Personnel (ESP) Wage Schedule
This compensation plan includes Fair Labor Standards Act non-exempt educational support positions such as para-educators, food and nutrition, early childhood education, extended childcare services, office professionals, security, and central department specialists and workers.
Cherry Creek Transportation Employees Association (CCTEA) Wage Schedule
This compensation plan includes Fair Labor Standards Act non-exempt Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Bus Driver, Non-CDL Bus Driver, and Bus Assistant positions.
Custodial, Maintenance, Grounds, and Carpentry (CMGC) Wage Schedule
This compensation plan includes Fair Labor Standards Act non-exempt trades labor positions.
Professional Technical Salary Schedule
This compensation plan includes Fair Labor Standards Act exempt skilled professional and technical positions such as accountants, analysts, engineers, and central department partners, liaisons, supervisors, managers, and assistant directors.
