Placement Window
The Spring 2024 placement window is open from September 15, 2023, through November 15, 2023.
The Human Resources department is committed to investing in our student teachers. The Student Teacher Program is designed to optimize the learning experiences of student teachers in the district and provide a comprehensive overview of CCSD’s mission, values, and strategic initiatives. Once a student teacher has completed a student teacher application on file, CCSD will place the student teacher applicant with an approved cooperating teacher.
-
Background Check
During our placement process, HR will send the student teacher an email regarding our CBI/FBI background check instructions.
Once the background check is completed, HR will notify the student teacher. At no time can the student teacher begin student teaching until HR has cleared them to work!
-
Student Teacher Orientation
Once HR has completed the placement process, the student teacher will be expected to attend our student teacher orientation. HR will communicate the date and time of this orientation. HR will not allow the student teacher to complete the District's student teaching program unless they have attended this orientation.
Please make sure to check your email regularly. If you need to update your email address, please log-in to your account to update.
