Offer vs. Serve is used in all of our cafeterias.
This allows students to decline up to two of the meal components at lunch and one component at breakfast.
This is meant to decrease waste and increase choices for our students.

Make it a Meal
Breakfast
The student's breakfast tray must contain a minimum of three food items, one of which must be a 1/2 cup serving of fruit to count as a complete meal.
Lunch
Lunch consists of five groups:
- Meat/meat alternate
- Grains
- Vegetables
- Fruits
- Milk
Student lunch trays can include all five food groups but must contain a minimum of three different food groups, one of which must be a 1/2 cup serving of a fruit or vegetable to count as a complete meal.

A La Carte
If minimum requirements for a meal are not met, a la carte prices will be charged. Nutritious a la carte snacks are sold according to USDA Smart Snacks.

Meal Prices
Students in all grades that qualify for free or reduced-price meals will receive breakfast and lunch at no charge.

Elementary - $2.00
Middle School - $2.25
High School - $2.25
Adult - A La Carte Prices
Lunch
Elementary - $3.50
Middle School - $3.75
High School - $3.75
Adult - $4.50
