-
Are you interested in the future of the Cherry Creek School District? Would you like to be involved with long-range planning for schools and other facilities? Then consider volunteering for the district’s Long-Range Facility Planning Committee.
This group of community members and district employees evaluates issues including new construction, renovation of existing facilities, attendance boundaries, Bond impacts and future planning. The group advises the Board of Education and recommends cost-effective plans for capital facilities.
A listing of the schools in each Director District can be found in the Director District School Assignments document.
More information about this volunteer opportunity is available here: Board of Education policy BDF R-5.
The Long-Range Facility Planning Committee currently has no open community member positions. However, if you are interested in serving on the Long-Range Facility Planning Committee, please complete the application and return it to planning@cherrycreekschools.org. so that we can contact you when an open position arises.
The mission of the Long-Range Facility Planning Committee (LRFPC), an advisory committee to the Board of Education, is to promote "Excellence in Education" by recommending cost-effective plans for the use of capital facilities.
The LRFPC meetings for the 2024-25 SY are held in-person from 7:30am - 9:00am. All meetings will be held at the Office of Fiscal Services Building located at 9150 E. Union Ave. Greenwood Village, 80111
